Tales by Dara I

Remember Dara my muse? Here she is getting set to owambe!

She had told me she would be wearing a pink outfit with a turquoise gele for the traditional wedding she was invited for so we started discussing looks. We agreed that most ladies would be sporting pink eyeshadow or turquoise eyeshadow as the high point of their makeup and as such we settled for something different - natural colors on the upper eyelid, a line of bright turquoise on the lower lid and a pale pink lippe. I leave you to judge if it turned out as expected.
I think it's clear her husband was happy with the results after waiting sooooo 'patiently'.

Benita...

Benita was referred to me by one of my clients, Isioma Coker. Let me seize this opportunity to thank Isioma immensely for her support and continued referrals. You Makeovers is indeed grateful.

Benita skin isn't one shade so we had to mix foundations to get her exact color, this we did with success. She was clear about how she wanted to look and told me what she didn't like and didn't want. That's a good trait to have as it shows a lady who knows exactly what she wants. It also guides the makeup artist to ensure that the client's expectations are met. When I finished, she was very happy with the results and said she was amazed she didn't have any complaints! *grinning widely*. In all things we thank God and give Him the glory for yet another successful makeover.

From Tomboy to Temptress!

Olamide has beautiful skin so she didn't need too much coverage. Just something to even out her skin tone and enhance her features. She confessed to me that she is just getting over her tomboy nature - I guess with marriage comes the need to be more womanly especially on the wedding days!

Here's to another You Makeovers Bride, wishing you immense marital bliss!
