September Makeovers

September was an awesome month, my cousin got married and I was included in the team of makeup artists who helped to makeover the bridal party and more importantly because Olayinka David Elegbede and I got married!!!! *dancing with a wide grin on my face* I'm still basking in the euphoria of a new bride (talk about gifts in cash and kind pouring in at a rate I've never experienced - hand over face).

Ok, so back to reality, I've got lots of pics to share from my cousin Bisola's wedding so please, enjoy.

BUNMI, my elder sister was on the train. She's always been an avid supporter of You Makeovers, before, during and after the conception of the dream. This is her before I started...

 Yeah, talk about gorgeous eyes!

This is RAHILA, another beautiful young lady on the train. This is her just after I applied a mattifying primer...

And here she is after all was brushed and blended... :)

Next up is MARIAM

I agree, this picture does not do her justice, wait till you see her after the You Makeovers touch...

and finally...BIOYE

you all will have to pardon us, I can't remember why Bioye looked down in this picture

Bioye's gele was accidentally left behind in Surulere (we got them ready at the Federal Palace Hotel,Victoria Island) and as they were already hard pressed for time, she had to go to the engagement ceremony without the gele which was to meet her there.
All in all, it was a beautiful day, we def rocked it, had loads of food and drinks and a promise of a blissful marriage to Bisola and Sola Erogbogbo!

July Makeovers

DARALICIOUS

My friend Dara is a great gal (and intending muse - we are going to do great makeovers together *dancing etigi*). We met in 2007 while serving in Lagos NYSC camp (yes, beef us, we get correct connections) and for some seemingly divine reason, we've been very good friends ever since. Despite Dara leaving during NSCY (absconded corper!) and we both going abroad for our MSc degrees at different times, we have kept in touch. I guess it was the same divine reason that ensured that we both got married in the same year, two and half months apart and were on each other's bridal trains. I would like to use this opportunity to say a BIG THANK YOU to Dara and her amazing husband Abiodun for allowing You Makeovers to handle her makeup for both the traditional and white wedding. I must say it was fun and totally fulfilling.

June makeover

BINA
Hello everyone! it's been ages! Will do my bestest best to keep true to the vows I made when embarking on the You Makeovers commitment, lol. I've been up to different things, got a job, made up more ladies and got MARRIED! Will upload pics of me on my wedding days, you all are going to drool! Ok, so above is Bina who came over to my place to be made up for a wedding she and her husband were attending. She came over with her husband who watched us all the time and who also kept taking shots of the makeover as we progressed. Bina was lovely to work with, her husband was amazing and approved of my work. Bina and I will be getting together again soon for personal makeup classes. I'm so looking forward to it once we sort out all the logistics involved.
